The medical device Simethicone 80 mg contains simethicone, which has the ability to reduce the surface tension of intestinal mucus and gas bubbles, making it easier for them to crack, thus helping to remove excess gas from the digestive tract.

Simethicone 80 mg is used to relieve the symptoms of excessive gas accumulation in the stomach and intestines, which is formed during digestion due to intestinal fermentation. These symptoms include: a feeling of fullness, severe gas and belching.

Simethicone 80 mg is also used as an adjuvant before diagnostic imaging of the abdominal cavity, i.e. before radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy. It helps to remove gas and air bubbles from the digestive tract, thereby improving the quality of images and it helps to remove diagnostic obstacles.

Recommended dosage: 

For symptoms caused by the accumulation of intestinal gas (flatulence, feeling of fullness, belching), adults take 1 capsule 3-4 times a day.

Preparation for diagnostic examination:

1 day before the examination: 1 capsule 3 times a day; on the day of the examination: 2 capsules in the morning, on an empty stomach.

If you miss a dose, do not take a double dose to make up for the missed dose.
