Silybin Active complex, 60 capsules
Food supplement with a balanced combination of active substances for proper liver function: silybin-phosphatidylcholine complex, S-adenosyl-L-methionine, choline and vitamins B6, B12 and E.
Silybin is the primary active component of silymarin which is obtained from the seeds of milk thistle.
According to available studies, the silybin-phosphatidylcholine complex has nearly 10-fold higher bioavailability compared to silymarin.1,2
The connection of silybin with phosphatidylcholine significantly improves bioavailability of silybin and improves its stability when passing through the digestive tract (it protects silybin from the action of digestive juices, enzymes and gut bacteria).
Milk thistle supports liver health, helps protect liver cells from oxidative stress, contributes to liver detox, helps maintain normal liver function and helps support digestion and body cleanse.
Choline contributes to maintenance of normal liver function and proper lipid metabolism.
S-adenosyl-L-methionine (active form of methionine) supports production of the antioxidant glutathione which protects liver cells from oxidative stress and free oxygen radicals.
Vitamin B6 and vitamin B12 assist proper production of red blood cells, proper functioning of the nervous system, proper mental function and proper functioning of the immune system.
Vitamin E contributes to protection of cells from oxidative stress.
